Ogogo and Jide Kosoko have responded to backlash trailing their support for Tinubu.

THE NATION REPORTERS reports that veteran Yoruba Actors, Taiwo Hassan(Ogogo) and Jide Kosoko, have responded to reactions following their open endorsements of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Presidential Candidates, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This news blog reported yesterday, that a viral video surfaced on social media which featured Ogogo, Jide Kosoko, Yinka Quadri, Adebayo Salami, Faithia Williams, Eniola Ajao, Foluke Daramola, Femi Adebayo and Madam Saje, openly endorsing Tinubu.

Responding to the backlash, Ogogo shared the campaign video on his Instagram page and captioned it: “Allah the highest has bestowed the power of choice to everyone. I wholly support Bola Tinubu on his mandate, please choose freely as it’s your right. I have chosen mine.”

Likewise, Jide Kosoko responded via his Instagram page that he had witnessed Tinubu’s achivements as a genuine leader.

His post read, “I stand with Tinubu. I have witnessed his achievement as a genuine leader over the years, his support for humanity and the creative industry in particular.”
