THE NATION REPORTERS reports that the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has been hospitalized and he is currently undergoing a surgical procedure at the hospital.

This was made known by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, who confirmed this in a tweet on his official Twitter account @akandeoj on Saturday.

“VP Osinbajo is in the hospital today for a surgical procedure on account of recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash. His doctors would give an update of the treatment later today”.
