NAPS Vice President, Comrade Walcott Extends Ramadan Relief For Muslim Students At Gateway ICT Polytechnic Saapade

The Vice President of National Association of Polytechnic Students NAPS Comrade Ajewole Ahmed popularly called Comr Walcott, a dedicated representative of the students, has once again demonstrated his commitment to supporting the welfare of Nigerian students starting in his constituency.

In a remarkable gesture of solidarity and compassion, he extended a Ramadan relief package to Muslim students at Gateway ICT Polytechnic Saapade.

The event, which took place at the institution’s mosque, was anchored by the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Gaposa Chapter. It was attended by the management staff of the polytechnic, led by the esteemed Rector, Dr Sanni Kehinde Oseni.

Comrade Walcott’s initiative aimed to provide much-needed support to Muslim students during the holy month of Ramadan. Recognizing the challenges faced by students, particularly during this time, he ensured that the relief package would help alleviate some of the hardships they may encounter.

The event is a testament to the collaborative efforts between National Association of Polytechnic Students and the institution’s management staff, showcasing their shared commitment to the welfare of students. The presence of the Rector and other members of the management team further emphasized the importance and significance of this initiative.

The Rector in his speech emphasized on the gloriousness of the holy month and also the essence of kindness in the month and generally.

Through this generous act, the NAPS VP has not only provided practical assistance but has also shown his unwavering support for the diverse student community at Gateway ICT Polytechnic Saapade. His dedication to fostering inclusivity and understanding among students is commendable and serves as an inspiration to others.

Comrade Walcott expressed his gratitude to the MSSN Gaposa Chapter for their active involvement in organizing the event. Their partnership and coordination were instrumental in ensuring the success of the relief package distribution.
