Lagos: MSSN Alagbado Trains Muslim Women On Business Building, Exposes Them To Global Opportunities

The sisters’ circle of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Alagbado Central Branch in Lagos state has trained scores of Muslim women on how to grow vehemently on their businesses.

 

The programme tagged ‘Global opportunities’ which was held on Sunday, November 20th, 2022 at Meiran Estate Central Mosque was full of positive life changing experiences for all participants.

 

 

Our correspondent reports that the program shows spiritual filled, thought provoking and highly educative lectures that span through entrepreneurship, business and global opportunities for all participants.

 

 

While addressing the participants at the program, the Amirah of MSSN Alagbado Central Branch, Mrs. Ganiyat Arogundade said the program is meant to empower Muslim women and exposed them to global opportunities which include accessing grants, digital market opportunities and taking their businesses to the world.

 

 

She added that the program is also aimed to eradicate the issue of poverty and train the Muslim women on business capacity and expose them to global opportunities.

 

 

She added, ‘This is our forth edition of this program. Over the years, we have people that have become expect digital marketing, won scholarship and have a lot of people that have benefitted from the program. Just like the theme of the program, we want to empower the Muslim women in order for them to serve value to people globally.”

 

One of the guest lecturers of the event, Hajia Husaynah Opeyifa explained to the participants on how they can make their businesses grow globally and render services as freelancers and agencies.

 

Corroborating, another guest lecturer of the event, Mrs. Aderinsola Adepoji also exposed the participants on the need to make their businesses thrive for the betterment of themselves and the society.

 

A renowned entrepreneur and public servant, Mrs. Muftiat Adesina said the program was an eyeopener for the Muslim women.

 

She described women as significant part of any economy that need to be empowered with global opportunities.

 

A board member of MSSN Ojokoro Area Council, Mrs. Rukiyyah Ibikunle said the program exposed many Muslim sisters to opportunity around the world. She said the program has helped to transform the Muslim sisters positively.
