BREAKING: Suspended UNIOSUN SUG President Reacts To His Suspension

The suspended students’ union president of Osun State University, UNIOSUN, Osogbo, Comrade Olawoyin Isaac, has reacted to his suspension by the Osun State University Students Union Legislative Council (OSUSULC).

This medium had earlier reported that the OSUSULC suspended the students union president and the General Secretary, Comrade Ogunlade Adeniyi on Tuesday.

The OSUSULC therefore installed the Vice President of the Students Union and the Assistant General Secretary as the acting president and acting general Secretary of the union with immediate effect..

This is contained in a statement dated August 8, 2023 and signed by the Speaker of OSUSULC, Oyeniy Michael and acting Clerk, Olaoye Lukman.

According to the statement, the embattled president and General Secretary were suspended over alleged misappropriation of fund, lack of respect for the constitution and false alarm allegations.

While reacting to his suspension in a statement on Wednesday evening, Isaac said his suspension and that og the general Secretary is nothing but a mere exercise in futility..

He stressed that he remains the Union president regardless of the legislative council suspension.
